Fronius: Economical charger for smaller batteries
With the Selectiva 2kW charger, Fronius Perfect Charging has an intelligent and economical solution for smaller traction batteries in its portfolio. Users of electric industrial trucks can significantly reduce their energy consumption and operating costs and at the same time significantly extend the service life of the expensive batteries. The Selectiva 2kW is the "little brother" of the 8 kW and 16 kW chargers already successfully established on the market and the successor to the Selectiva Plus E series. Like the larger models, it features the Ri charging process developed by Fronius: this automatically detects various parameters of the connected battery such as age, temperature and state of charge based on the internal resistance (Ri) and adjusts the characteristic curve of the respective charge accordingly.
