In addition to forklift trucks, warehouse technology devices and special vehicles, AGVs, shuttles, robots, software and apps as well as realized, holistic warehouse concepts are eligible for application. Prizes will also be awarded for outstanding technical details or components, such as ergonomic innovations, safety solutions or automation components. Cargo bikes and drones can be included in the field of applicants for the first time.

IFOY Test Days: Access for B2B trade visitors for the first time
Another first: whereas previously only jurors and their advisors were able to take a look at the finalists' innovations at the test event, this time B2B trade visitors from the logistics sector will also be admitted to the IFOY Test Days. The number of participants will be limited in order to guarantee intensive testing. In future, logistics decision-makers will be able to test drive and test equipment in the newly established IFOY TEST CAMP and find out about the products and solutions on display. They can also get an idea of the innovations by talking to developers and testers.

Three-stage audit
The International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY Award) honors the best industrial trucks and intralogistics solutions of the year. The decision is based on a three-stage audit. During the IFOY Test Days from February 7 to 13 at the exhibition grounds in Hanover, the trucks and solutions nominated for the final undergo individually tailored driving or functional tests, including the IFOY test protocol comprising around 80 criteria and the scientific IFOY Innovation Check. In addition, jurors and their teams of advisors from the business world will travel to the event to assess the finalists themselves before casting their votes.
