Daniel Schilling,

Equipping intralogistics systems sustainably for the future

Components for intralogistics systems, such as castors, not only have to withstand heavy loads - the demands in terms of sustainability and reliability are also increasing, as Faigle Kunststoffe reports.

The company will be presenting its service portfolio at Logimat and showing how plastics can meet these requirements. Energy efficiency is an important factor when it comes to sustainability. This is a particular focus of the new assembly, the roller holder, which has recently been launched on the market and will be on display at the trade fair. In addition to energy efficiency, other aspects such as noise reduction, optimum dimensional stability and a long service life were also a focus in the development of the roller bracket. The newly developed intralogistics castors from Faigle, which are specially optimized for the lowest possible rolling resistance, are used here.
