They are particularly interesting for online retailers and multi-channel operators whose product range does not exceed ten kilograms in weight. The systems integrated into the Skyfall technology can be used to mechanically handle textiles or packaged food and beverages, among other things: The items slide into the Skyfall pockets by themselves and, at the end of the conveying and sorting process, slide directly onto the packing tables of the shipping department in a way that is gentle on the product. The demo system on show primarily demonstrates the potential of Skyfall technology for use within goods distribution and packaging solutions.
