Schmalz: New building in the USA inaugurated
The vacuum specialist Schmalz has inaugurated a new building in Raleigh, North Carolina: The company invested around 6.5 million US dollars and the new headquarters of the US subsidiary was recently officially opened. At the official inauguration, the managing directors of J. Schmalz GmbH and Schmalz Inc. also welcomed numerous government representatives, such as the Lieutenant Governor of the State of North Carolina, Dan Forest, and Congressman David Price. Forest congratulated Schmalz on the expansion of the company and emphasized its importance for the region. Managing Director Wolfgang Schmalz emphasized how important the construction is for the company - and for the local people. "On the one hand, we have created the conditions to be able to meet the growing demand for vacuum solutions in the USA in the future. On the other hand, we are making it clear that we stand by our locations."
