IQ-Grid sorting solution with exchangeable IQ cassettes
VanRiet presents its bidirectional sorting solution, the IQ-Grid. The early and late shifts can be carried out on the same system, as the IQ-Grid's conveying direction can be changed at the touch of a button. The IQ-Grid is designed in such a way that mechanics can easily and quickly change the machine.
quickly and thus minimize downtime. The IQ-Grid consists of several IQ cassettes, each equipped with swivel rollers. The swivel rollers in the cassettes enable correct alignment of the product on the conveyor or correct sorting into the relevant sorter exit. All this can be done at a speed of up to 150 meters per minute and the cassettes can sort up to 6,000 products per hour. Crossing, splitting and joining different lines or infeed and outfeed at 90 degrees are just a few examples of the standard options. The logistics process does not have to be stopped during maintenance, the system continues to run. VanRiet mechanics will be on the stand every hour during LogiMAT to demonstrate how IQ cassettes can be replaced.
