Integrate picking and packing
Complex intralogistics processes become a challenge when, in addition to conveying parcels, packages, unit loads or load carriers, picking, sealing and packing must also be integrated into the process. Ami Förder- und Lagertechnik presents solutions for this.
The aim is to protect goods during transportation, increase the conveying speed with standard packaging and optimally adjust the throughput with adapted packing densities. AMI has various components in its trade fair baggage for this purpose and will be demonstrating options during operation. AMI can implant robotics for automation in order to stack, transfer or palletize according to requirements. AMI supplies its own lidding systems or docks onto the customer's existing packaging technology.
In many projects, the AMI software package WLS (Warehouse Logistics Software) is used, which serves as an internal merchandise management program and interacts with the higher-level ERP program via the appropriate interfaces.
