System integration enables
From the start-up aid to the modular system
Three years after the launch of the E-Drive start-up aid, castor and wheel manufacturer Tente is offering a modular kit solution called E-Drive ultimate.
Thanks to the E-Drive ultimate modular system, workshop trolleys, manual push trolleys, trolleys and sequence trolleys now have more expansion options and benefits in terms of ergonomics and efficiency than ever before. Oliver Heyne, Director of Business Development at Tente, says: "We have taken our E-Drive to another level of technology, making system integration possible."
From manufacturer to system integrator
The company uses industry-proven products for the E-Drive ultimate. Tente is keeping its core capabilities in-house and expanding its business field from manufacturer to system integrator. With a brushless drive, the E-Drive ultimate is said to be smoother and more comfortable than its predecessor. In addition, slip and contact pressure can be controlled even more precisely. An improved gearbox supports deceleration and is available with an active brake for certain applications. The drive of the E-Drive Ultimate is also more powerful.
The manual control units of the E-Drive ultimate can be customized. If required, a manual push trolley can even be converted into an electrified version during operation: Simply add an E-Drive ultimate mechatronic hand control unit to the standard grab rail and attach the drive and battery via plug & play.
"Helping to improve pragmatically"
Oliver Heyne explains: "With the E-Drive ultimate, we don't want to achieve a revolution in the distant future, but rather help to pragmatically improve existing industrial processes."
