Ferag: Carefully tilted and collected
The Swiss company Ferag AG has added two stations for semi-automatic loading and fully automatic unloading to the Skyfall family of pocket sorters. Both extensions increase the efficiency of the SkySorters used many times over. The highlight: the new Ferag system achieves an unrivaled 2,000 bags per hour for both loading and unloading. Each of the bags can also be filled with several items at the same time. The only limitation: the weight of 15 kilograms per bag must not be exceeded. The Skyfall bags are also emptied in a simple manner: a plate chain conveyor rotating parallel to the SkySorter gently tilts the specifically retrieved bags. The contents slide gently onto the plate surfaces equipped with catch stops.
