With Amy, a compact AMR for loads up to 25 kg, and the Navios fleet manager, DS Automotion is presenting concepts and solutions for production and logistics for companies of all sizes at Logimat in Stuttgart.
Visitors to the trade fair will have the opportunity to experience the new concepts for small load transportation with Amy directly on site and to try out the Navios fleet management system interactively. Amy has been specially designed for use in industrial production and intralogistics processes. Thanks to a transfer concept with an active lift table, sources and sinks can be designed as passive stations. The control software developed in-house by DS Automotion enables rapid start-up - individually or in a swarm. The AMR can either drive completely autonomously or follow a virtual track guidance system and avoid unexpected obstacles. In addition, like all current DS Automotion vehicles, Amy is equipped with a VDA 5050 interface and can process files with the Layout Interchange Format (LIF).
Under the Navios fleet manager from DS Automotion, Amy can also be operated in mixed mode with the manufacturer's other vehicles for mobile robotics for internal logistics and assembly applications. According to the provider, this makes Amy particularly suitable as a cost-effective addition to existing systems. Navios from DS Automotion offers companies the opportunity to efficiently control their vehicle fleet - whether AGVs or AMRs. Thanks to an intuitive user interface and flexible layout configuration, users can easily customize their operations. Thanks to VDA 5050 compatibility, seamless communication between all mobile robots is also possible. The layout design of the route is visualized using a navigation map.
