Pointing the way
Transport trolley with directional lock
The focus at Fetra was on the newly developed fetra Fixstop directional locking device, which gives users maximum flexibility. Instead of the standard two fixed castors on all trolleys, the directional locking device offers the option of choosing between maneuverability or directional stability as required.
The user can activate the function from any long side with just one footstep and thus determine whether the trolley should run on four swivel castors or whether two swivel castors and two fixed castors are required. Experts at the trade fair stand will be demonstrating the function of the directional locking device on a small model of the galvanized order picking trolley, in this case equipped with a drawbar, coupling, fetra Fixstop and handles for transverse movement. The fixed castor function is used when several trolleys are moving together. After uncoupling, users can switch to four swivel castors and move the trolley crossways.
