From scaffolding parts
New mobile front working platform from Krause
The Krause plant from Alsfeld in Hesse presented an easy-to-assemble front working platform consisting of scaffolding parts.
The front working platform for changing large windscreens and other maintenance work consists of three large decking platforms, each measuring 3.00 x 0.60 m, which are hooked into the vertical frames at different heights. This makes it easy to climb to the top level, even with the weight of a large windshield. This is particularly important as these panes are usually replaced by two people and the work platform can be climbed in parallel. Once at the top, users have more freedom of movement than when standing on two ladders.
The front access platform is equipped with four braked castors. These have a diameter of 150 mm and an integrated spindle thread with an infinitely variable adjustment range of 220 to 335 mm. This means that it can also be used on uneven terrain. The rubberized castors are also gentle on the ground and allow the front access platform to be moved ergonomically.
In addition to replacing windscreens, there are many other areas of application around vehicles for maintenance and servicing work where the work platform can be set up quickly and flexibly. Users can reach a working height of up to 2.95 m. The large working surface means that frequent ascents and descents from ladders are avoided, thus increasing work safety and efficiency in the long term.
