pfenning logistics: start of construction for "multicube rheinhessen"

Heddesheim/Monsheim, 02.03.2018 - The excavators are rolling in at the Monsheim-Ost industrial estate. Over the next ten months, the Heddesheim-based company pfenning logistics will be building another logistics center on a 10-hectare site.

Association mayor Ralph Bothe and local mayor Michael Röhrenbeck are convinced: "The relocation is an important economic boost and with pfenning logistics, we have been able to attract another family-run medium-sized company to Monsheim." We have already received inquiries for the "multicube rheinhessen" from well-known industrial and commercial companies who want to use the warehouse and logistics space to expand their capacities.

"We receive inquiries from all sectors. This shows us how strong the demand for logistics space is and that our comprehensive expertise in project development and logistics services meets this demand," says Karl-Martin Pfenning, Managing Partner of the family-run medium-sized company pfenning logistics.

Designed as a multi-user center and consisting of individual hall modules, the new location offers a total storage area of approx. 55,000 square meters and a mezzanine floor (mezzanine) with approx. 7,000 square meters of space for different customers and industries. The individual hall areas can be used for the storage and preparation of a wide variety of goods. It is also possible to set up an automated high-bay warehouse. The special feature of the concept is that the modular design allows completely different product and retail worlds to be bundled at one location, thus optimizing transport, among other things.

The model for the property is the "multicube rhein-neckar" at the logistics service provider's headquarters in Heddesheim. Awarded the platinum certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), the multicube rhein-neckar is one of the most sustainable industrial buildings in Europe with a top score of 1.21. red
