Stacker cranes, shuttle and robotics
With flexibility to successful logistics 4.0
Online-based sales channels and omnichannel concepts in all sectors present new challenges: rapidly changing order structures, small batch sizes, time and cost pressure due to just-in-time or next-day delivery, a high degree of sequencing or shop-specific delivery.

For this reason, Knapp has been relying on the goods-to-person principle with its Pick-it-Easy workstations and shuttle systems for years: this increases efficiency, reduces errors and relieves employees of non-ergonomic tasks. In combination with the pocket sorter solution from Dürkopp, the highest throughput rates - up to 7,500 parts/h per pocket sorter module - are possible. Free-moving open shuttles bring flexibility to the warehouse and can be combined with new picking processes, intelligent image recognition technology, fast sorters and the latest robot technology. Thanks to their flexible design without rails, they save space and can be easily integrated into existing systems. In combination with Streamline conveyor technology, the Open Shuttle offers an ideal balance between flexibility and performance.
