AI for the logistics of the future

EPG (Ehrhardt Partner Group) is presenting new solutions that integrate artificial intelligence deeply into operational logistics processes and thus create the basis for an intelligently networked supply chain.

In logistics, millions of decisions are made every day, from route planning to warehouse management and personnel scheduling. Until now, many of these decisions have been based on fixed rules and human intervention. With the use of AI, this logic is changing fundamentally. Systems interpret events in real time, simulate scenarios and generate solution and optimization proposals. The basis for such powerful visual analysis of logistics processes is Nvidia DeepStream, a real-time streaming analysis toolkit within Nvidia Metropolis, and GPU-accelerated platforms.

At the same time as expanding these AI tools, EPG is introducing 'AURA', its new supply chain execution AI environment. AURA is designed as a technological basis for Generative and Agentic AI and extends the EPG ONE Suite with specialized AI agents that prepare operational decisions and implement them according to defined governance rules. Peter Bollinger, CEO of EPG, explains: "AURA marks the beginning of a new era in logistics. Our AI environment understands the dynamics of the supply chain, recognizes risks at an early stage and acts before disruptions occur."

For EPG, the combination of Nvidia DeepStream and AURA marks the transition from networked individual solutions to an open, intelligent logistics ecosystem. Bollinger emphasizes: "We are evolving from a software provider to a technology architect that sets the pace for the logistics of the future. With Nvidia's AI infrastructure and AURA as our new environment, we are laying the foundation for true autonomy in the supply chain of the future."
