Lean warehouse processes with inconsoWMS from the cloud
The logistics software specialist inconso summarizes the advantages of the cloud in a new generation of its warehouse management system inconsoWMS: Flexibility, scalability and operational readiness are offered by the latest cloud release, which provides an introduction to IT-supported warehouse management - and has been designed for high availability and IT security in particular.
As a cloud service, inconsoWMS combines all basic functions for predominantly manual or forklift-controlled processes in the areas of incoming goods, storage, picking and packing. In addition to standardized processes, inconsoWMS from the cloud also offers some special functions for control stations, inventories and inventory management. It is suitable for small and medium-sized warehouses and multi-warehouse users who want to implement additional warehouses and hubs with minimal implementation effort.
The cloud-based solution offers increased security thanks to its operation in a certified data center (in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and SOC 1 and 2) and global service teams. With an availability of +99.5%, the cloud infrastructure is backed by powerful virtualization, server, storage and network technologies, which above all ensure increased flexibility in system deployment.
"Seasonal fluctuations can be managed dynamically with the associated system performance," explains Wilfried Pfuhl, CEO at inconso. "But inconsoWMS from the cloud was also designed for peak loads, growth and process adjustments. The new cloud release enriches the solution spectrum of the inconso Logistics Suite with another highly flexible application software that enables our users to meet the growing challenges in logistics in a future-proof manner".
The cloud-based inconsoWMS is more immediately available than conventional warehouse management systems. Users do not have to worry about the necessary infrastructure or significant security aspects. Regular updates ensure functional enhancements and the security of the systems always remains up to date. Graphically, the cloud release is based on the familiar user interface of the inconso Logistics Suite.
