Advancing the development and use of AI together
Applied AI, initiative for the application of trustworthy AI, and SAP announce their partnership. The aim is to combine their respective strengths and put Europe at the forefront of AI.
SAP and the Applied AI Initiative are entering into a strategic partnership. The two powerful players in the development and application of AI in companies are thus joining forces. Together, they will explore AI scenarios and identify suitable use cases for SAP customers. The aim of the partnership is to find effective solutions that bring benefits in industrial applications and drive forward the implementation of artificial intelligence.
SAP is used as enterprise software by many partners of the Applied AI initiative. In combination with the new collaboration between the two companies, this opens up a wide range of opportunities for the Applied AI partnership network to optimize business processes with AI and make better use of data, especially in the areas of finance, HR and supply chain. The overall aim of the partnership is to develop holistic strategic AI planning together with companies.
Three core areas of cooperation
The partnership with SAP covers three core areas: Firstly, the promotion of AI in the product portfolio. Applied AI supports SAP in evaluating AI scenarios. This is done through targeted exchange formats and by contributing the experience that Applied AI has already gained from working with a large network of industrial companies.
Added to this is the transfer of knowledge and further training: learning paths are developed jointly in order to drive forward AI training within the company. The integration of SAP into the Applied AI network ensures a continuous exchange of knowledge.
Finally, joint events and innovative use cases will also follow: Joint events will be organized with the partners to discuss the use of AI in specific business processes such as finance and supply chain and to develop innovative use cases.
