Warehouse management for online retailers
The company Lesara is building a new logistics center in Erfurt. The online retailer is relying on the warehouse management system and material flow control of the software company Dr. Thomas + Partner (TUP).
Lesara relies on TUP's warehouse management system (TUP.WMS) and material flow computer (TUP.MFC) at its new location in Erfurt. The Lesara Intralogistics Application, LIA for short, was commissioned during LogiMAT 2018 and the go-live date for the manual processes is scheduled for 2018. In addition to the detailed specification and development, the implementation of the systems and the necessary tests are to be completed during this time. The project volume amounts to a total of 45 million euros and the targeted expansion stage is an average of 33,500 parcels per day. The software company can draw on proven and existing modules.
