Energy Star for TSC printers
The Energy Star certification attests to the high efficiency and cost-effective operation of the thermal printers from TSC Auto ID. This means that the desktop series TTP-245C, TDP-247, TDP-225 and TTP-225 as well as TA210 and DA200 meet the well-known energy-saving criteria of the US environmental label. Many more models will follow.
Managing Director Ladislav Sloup is convinced that the lower power consumption of printing systems has an impact on a company's profitability and sustainability. "For the sake of our environment, we must all work to reduce the consumption values of the computers, monitors and printers used in companies and to continuously improve the devices." TSC is doing its part, as demonstrated by numerous other certifications, awards and voluntary services. For example, all thermal printers come with a two-year warranty and numerous models are SAP, Oracle and Cerner certified. In 2014, TSC also underwent comprehensive testing of the 2D codes generated with TSC printers by GS1 Taiwan, which validated numerous desktop and industrial models.
