Stephan Sieber new CEO at Transporeon
The software company Transporeon is strengthening its management team: Stephan Sieber took over the operational management of the provider of cloud-based transport logistics services on November 12.
The two founders Marc-Oliver Simon and Martin Mack will remain shareholders in the group and will help shape the strategic direction of Transporeon in future through an active role on the Supervisory Board.
Sieber can look back on 13 years at SAP, including as Managing Director SAP Switzerland. He then spent five years helping to shape the successful development of ERP provider Unit4, including three years as CEO.
Marc-Oliver Simon explained: "Transporeon is very successful in transforming the transport market in Europe. With our solutions, we are creating concrete benefits for industrial and commercial companies as well as transport service providers by digitalizing processes, reducing waiting times and empty runs and thus making a positive contribution to the environment. We currently have a number of ideas that we want to pursue further, for example in the areas of market intelligence and big data. In Stephan Sieber, we have the ideal leader to drive these ideas forward. I look forward to continuing to help shape the future of Transporeon on the Supervisory Board."
