Henry Puhl takes over as Chief Executive Officer

After more than 14 years with the company, Harald Schröpf is retiring. Henry Puhl brings extensive industry and management experience to the role of Chief Executive Officer and the transformation program that has been initiated will be continued and should give TGW Logistics new impetus.

On February 1, Harald Schröpf welcomed his successor as CEO at the TGW headquarters in Marchtrenk. With the official handover of the baton to Henry Puhl, intralogistics specialist TGW Logistics is opening a new chapter in its more than 50-year history. Before joining TGW Logistics, Henry Puhl was Chief Technology Officer of the Kion Group and previously worked for well-known global companies such as the Claas Group and John Deere (Deere & Company).

The 53-year-old manager can look back on an extensive international track record in the industrial technology and automation sector. "I am delighted that the starting signal for my new role has been given. As a foundation company, TGW Logistics has a unique set-up in which performance plays a central role, but where there is also plenty of room for people in their individuality. This is in line with my understanding of leadership, in which results orientation, trust and empowerment are equally important," says Puhl. "The 'TGW idea' and the foundation's philosophy 'People at the center - learning and growing' form our framework for action and are a strong foundation for the future." Outgoing CEO Harald Schröpf, who has played a key role in paving the way for TGW Logistics today, is retiring at his own request.
