Puhl will take over the position of CEO from February 2024 and succeed Harald Schröpf. Schröpf has led TGW Logistics as CEO for the past six years. In addition to his experience as CTO of the Kion Group, Henry Puhl brings an international track record in the industrial technology and automation sector and has extensive knowledge covering the entire value chain. He is a leader with a deep understanding of the customer perspective, broad technical expertise and a wealth of transformation experience. Well-known global companies such as the Claas Group and John Deere (Deere & Company) are among the 52-year-old's professional stations.

"Intralogistics is looking at an extremely positive growth market. TGW Logistics has cutting-edge technology and unique know-how, already has a very good business base in Europe and a lot of potential to position itself more strongly in the USA as well. We will use the transformation that has already begun in the company to lift TGW Logistics into the top league of international players and to make optimum use of market potential for us," says Puhl, describing his future role. Outgoing CEO Harald Schröpf, who played a key role in paving the way for the TGW Logistics of today, will retire in 2024. Over the next few months, he will play a key role in preparing the company for the change and ensuring a smooth transition. He will continue to be available to the company in an advisory capacity after February 1.
