The logistics facility comprises 20,000 square meters of warehouse space and 2,500 square meters of office space. The warehouse also includes a refrigerated section for the storage of perishable goods. "We see great potential in Voronezh Oblast to establish ourselves as a logistics partner for industry and trade. In particular, we would like to support our customers' developments in the agricultural sector here in the future. Voronezh is ideally located on the New Silk Road corridor between Europe and Asia," reports Olaf Metzger, Managing Director of OOO Rhenus Freight Logistics. A special economic zone is also currently being established in Voronezh to attract the metal processing industry.

Rhenus also welcomed Dr. Hinrich Snell, Head of the Department for Food and Agriculture at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Moscow, the First Deputy Governor of the Voronezh region, Vitaly Alekseevich Shabalatov, and Matthias Schepp, Chairman of the Board of the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce Abroad and Delegate of German Business in the Russian Federation, to the celebrations.
