LIS AG: Magnus Wagner becomes member of the Management Board
Greven, 01.08.2018 - Logistische Informationssysteme AG (LIS) is making changes at Management Board level. Magnus Wagner has been elected to the Management Board of the software company. He took over the voting shares of his father and LIS CEO Hilmar Wagner in October last year. For the 38-year-old, his promotion to the management board marks the next step towards a generational change at the top of the company.
"For us, handing over responsibility to the next generation primarily means continuity. In this way, we are not only rejuvenating the management team, but also maintaining our innovative strength," said Hilmar Wagner.
Magnus and Hilmar Wagner and Rolf Hansmann will steer the fortunes of the company as LIS board members in future. Magnus Wagner, who holds a degree in business administration, gained experience in various departments at Bosch and BMW, among others. In his new position, he will initially focus on sales and project management and expand these areas. He would also like to drive forward international expansion. mm
