DB Schenker is entering into a strategic partnership with Magento, one of the world's leading providers of e-commerce platforms. This offers small and medium-sized companies in particular a fast, convenient and cost-effective solution for linking web stores and warehousing services.

The expertise of the global logistics provider combined with Magento's e-commerce platform now offers retailers a seamless connection between the frontend and backend, their webshop and DB Schenker's logistics on a global level. The new "Warehouse Manager" module is available via the Magento Marketplace. The partnership is based on the increasing demand from e-commerce customers for order tracking in the web store.

The new solution covers all warehousing activities, including pick and pack as well as delivery status information. "As DB Schenker, we are actively investing in new products and sales channels and look forward to working with Magento to jointly set new standards in global supply chain management," says Jochen Thewes, CEO of Schenker AG. "I am sure that our solution will contribute significantly to improving our customers' e-commerce business."

Magento customers can now use DB Schenker's global network of warehouses and benefit from efficient order processing. "We are excited about our new collaboration with DB Schenker as a global logistics partner and look forward to helping our joint customers make their e-commerce offerings work seamlessly," said Ryan Murden, Head of Business Development at Magento Commerce.
