Labeling
A long-distance runner for runners
With the Legi-Air 4050 E2A, labeling provider Bluhm Systeme is launching a new pallet labeler onto the market. The device comes from the tried-and-tested Legi-Air 4050 E label dispenser series and labels pallets on both sides, either in continuous or stopped mode. The system is suitable for continuous operation.
When labeling continuous pallets, the Legi-Air 4050 E2A achieves speeds of up to 420 units per hour with double-sided labeling. This corresponds to seven pallets per minute. The maximum conveyor belt speed is 18 meters per minute. The newly designed stamping plate of the Legi-Air 4050 E2A is suitable for pallet labels in the sizes DIN A6 to A5. It has two specially protected sensors and narrow rollers mounted on the side. The rollers ensure that the dispensing stamp can unroll gently when touched. This prevents the stamp from jamming, for example when labeling wrapped pallets.
Large color display
The pallet labeler can be controlled, configured and monitored via a multicolored 7-inch LCD touch display. Print jobs can be selected, started and stopped. The operator can set the label position on the pallet (front, side, back) and receive information about the productivity of the device.
Electric unwinders and rewinders
The label roll unwinders and rewinders have their own electric drives. This protects the print module and reduces its maintenance requirements. Print modules from all leading manufacturers can be integrated and quickly replaced if necessary. Depending on the respective print module, print results with a resolution of 200 to 600 dpi are achieved.
Two separate compressed air circuits have been installed in the Legi-Air 4050 E2A. If the compressed air supply for the cylinders is interrupted, the independent vacuum on the dispensing pad continues to reliably secure the label. The standard version of the Legi-Air 4050 E2A is supplied without an enclosure. Enclosures with or without doors are available as an option. Other options include air conditioning of the housing and an automatic Performance Level D switch-off.
