Crown launches electric, diesel and LPG counterbalance trucks with load capacities of up to 5.5 tons. The new four-wheel forklift trucks complement the proven, multifunctional forklift trucks of the SC and FC series. They are available as electric forklift trucks with a powerful 80-volt battery as well as powerful diesel and LPG forklift trucks. With load capacities from 2.0 to 5.5 tons, they can perform a wide range of material handling tasks both indoors and outdoors.
"With the introduction of the C-B, C-D and C-G series, Crown now has the right model for every application in the counterbalance truck segment. We now offer our customers an overall concept that enables smooth work processes and provides the necessary power and strength for demanding applications," says Sven Vorreiter, Marketing Product Manager at Crown. The already well-equipped basic models can be upgraded with a wide range of options, such as various attachments and cab variants. This means they can be configured down to the last detail according to customer-specific requirements.
Like all of the company's industrial trucks, the C-B, C-D and C-G series are particularly robust and powerful and stand for reliability and productivity-enhancing efficiency. The motors each deliver an effectively high torque to transport heavy loads effortlessly, even on inclines.
The forklift trucks in the C-B series are powered purely electrically with powerful 80 volt motors. They offer the same load capacity and stability that you would expect from a forklift truck with a combustion engine. This means powerful performance both indoors and outdoors. At the same time, they help to reduce CO2 emissions. The diesel forklifts in the C-D series and the LPG forklifts in the C-G series are primarily designed for outdoor use and long distances. With their turbo engines, they operate reliably and fuel-efficiently and meet the strict requirements of the European Stage 5 emissions standard. In the diesel models, automatic regeneration of the particulate filter enables even higher productivity, as the truck can remain in operation during this process.
In general, all forklift models in the C-B, C-D and C-G series offer equally impressive ergonomics and the best possible operating comfort. For example, the high-quality, full-suspension comfort seat can be easily adapted to the individual needs of the operator. Intuitive and easily accessible controls ensure a safe driving experience and greater work safety. And the compact design of the mast and the specially designed overhead guard not only provide additional stability and safety, but also enable a clear view upwards and first-class all-round visibility. As a result, every single comfort feature means less strain and fatigue for the operator and therefore productive, safe working throughout the shift.
Another outstanding feature of counterbalance trucks is their ease of maintenance. No tools are required to access all the components needed for quick checks and daily maintenance, which can significantly reduce the total cost of ownership.
