Forklift meets aerial work platform
Jungheinrich and Riwal agree on cooperation
Jungheinrich and Riwal, a specialist in the rental of aerial work platforms and telescopic handlers, will cooperate on an international level in the future in the rental of their equipment. Jungheinrich will use Riwal's aerial work platforms for logistics centers, while Riwal will be able to offer Jungheinrich's trucks in other segments. The aim is to create a global one-stop store for forklifts, aerial work platforms and telehandlers, making it easier for customers of both companies to access the right equipment. The program is already up and running in the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia and Germany, with more countries to follow in the course of 2019.
Pedro Torres, Chief Operating Officer of Riwal, comments: "At Riwal, we are delighted to be able to offer our customers a wider range of equipment through this agreement and to be working with a leading company like Jungheinrich, which has a wide international reach in the intralogistics industry."
Kerk Wichmann, Director of Rental at Jungheinrich AG, adds: "Customer focus is of central importance to Jungheinrich. Together with Riwal, we can serve the market with an expanded and optimally coordinated product portfolio. This partnership will make the rental of forklift trucks and lifting platforms much easier and more efficient for our customers. We look forward to working with Riwal to consistently capitalize on business opportunities as both companies share the same corporate values."
