igus: Medium-voltage cable for power supply on crane systems
For very long travel distances, for example in crane systems, the motion plastics specialist igus has developed the new chainflex medium-voltage cable CFCrane.Pur. Motor cables in this series are highly resistant to bending and oil, among other things. As a retrofit solution or for special projects, igus offers the new cable series from stock. It is particularly suitable for very long travel distances of up to 1,000 meters. The new CFCrane.Pur medium-voltage cable for voltages of 6/10 kV can be used in indoor and outdoor applications thanks to its special conductor design and the combination of materials used. Compared to conventional motorized cables, the new CFCrane.Pur has a diameter that is up to 20 percent smaller. As with all 1,244 chainflex cables available from stock, igus also guarantees a 36-month service life.
