Servus Intralogistics: Innovative hopper attachment enables new solutions
Servus Intralogistics has added an application to its system. By attaching a hopper to the transport robots, new solutions are possible in the plastics industry. Injection moulding and assembly cycles often do not coincide and can be decoupled with the decentralized Servus system.
This means that the robots can bring bulk goods directly to the assembly stations, fill stations directly, take them away again and buffer injection-molded parts. Shipping cartons or pallet boxes can also be filled directly. The transport robots link incoming goods, order picking, storage, production and outgoing goods. The throughput speed is increased and stocks are reduced. mm
