Unique boxes for unique products
The Walther Faltbox Group is taking a step towards sustainability: instead of recycling folding boxes with individual color gradients as usual, the company is now offering them as unique boxes in the Boxline store.
In this way, customers receive special unique pieces and at the same time make a valuable contribution to environmental protection. In the injection molding process, individual color streaks occur in the products when the colors change. Normally, such color deviations lead to the products being rejected simply because of their appearance. But the company is now putting an end to this: In its online store, the manufacturer of tailor-made transport packaging is offering boxes with color streaks at a reduced price.
Sustainability Manager Doreen Fischer explains: "For us, it is precisely these color nuances that give our unique boxes their unique character. What's more, we can't reconcile it with our sustainability philosophy to simply discard boxes that meet our quality standards one hundred percent apart from the color." The color variants have no influence on the quality of the boxes: they are just as robust and durable, just as easy to clean and just as versatile as any other box from the manufacturer. The unique boxes are currently available in two versions in the Boxline store: the 6432 NG measuring 600 x 400 x 320 millimetres and the 4322 V1 measuring 400 x 300 x 220 millimetres. Each box is unique: the color streaks can be more or less noticeable depending on the box. The colors also vary.
