Customized solution for the food industry
The food industry places high demands on load carriers. Werit therefore manufactures storage and transport containers specially tailored to this industry.
Food needs to be stored and transported reliably. The containers must be stackable, tasteless, easy to handle and clean, among other things. Hygiene in particular is a key issue in the food industry. To meet these requirements, Werit offers a whole range of plastic containers in numerous designs. Manufactured from high-quality plastics, the containers can be optimized with numerous additives for their respective area of application.
The solution
An individualized storage and transport container based on the Euronorm stacking box series was created according to a special requirement profile of an international chocolate manufacturer. Blister packs are used in these containers. In order to keep these blister packs at the height level of the conveyor system, pins move through openings in the base of the container and push them into the correct position for unloading. After unloading, the containers are lifted again in this fully automated system and conveyed onwards. The customized stacking box, of which several tens of thousands are currently in use, meets the high requirements of in-house production processes within the food industry.
Made from food-safe PP, the container is both robust and lightweight. It is easy to clean and meets the hygiene requirements of the food industry. This Euronorm stacking box is also sustainable as it can be recycled. At the end of the boxes' life cycle, they can be 100% recycled and processed into new boxes. With dimensions of 600 x 400 x 120 millimetres, the containers used are tailored to the chocolate manufacturer's intralogistics.
