Everything is great at Savoye
In July 2018, Savoye announced its growth targets: To become a player in the global TOP 20 in intralogistics, to offer the best technologies and software for the supply chain and to gain an expanded international presence.
Savoye founded Savoye North America in 2018. By the end of the year, almost one hundred people were employed here and the company already has a production facility near Chicago. In 2019 and 2020, Savoye restructured its organization in the Benelux countries and Italy. Around ten employees are responsible for sales and pre-sales there. In order to serve the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, a new branch was opened in Dubai in April 2021 and Savoye has also been operating a branch in Singapore since July 1.
Savoye's sales for all warehouse automation and supply chain software activities increased by 16.5% to € 151.1 million in 2020. Incoming orders also grew to €178 million, allowing the company to look to 2021 with confidence. Due to the good results, Savoye was the only French company to be included in the TOP 20 leading intralogistics companies worldwide by the leading American trade magazine Modern Materials Handling(see also: materialfluss TOP 20 system integrators 2020).
Another aspect of the development plan concerns external growth and the expansion of sales integration partnerships. In 2020, Savoye acquired SoCloz, enabling it to digitalize the customer journey end-to-end, from the preparation of orders in the warehouse to the store. In terms of partnerships, Savoye now also counts on the strong New Zealand company Scott for solutions in the food and meat sector, as well as the Japanese company Tanax and the Czech company Ates.
This business expansion only makes sense if it is based on modern, relevant and market-driven solutions. ODATiO, a modular WMS and TMS solution launched this February, is a major innovation for Savoye in the field of supply chain execution software. At the same time, Savoye launched its autonomous and collaborative mobile robot solution, which is the result of a combination of software know-how and experience in logistics operations.
