To this end, Böllhoff is building a new logistics center and driving forward the implementation of digital processes in the logistics chain. The company is implementing the project in continuation of a long-standing collaboration with logistics software specialist inconso.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the new logistics center took place on 16 June in Oelnitz, Saxony. The center will be equipped with an automated high-bay warehouse (HRL) and an automated small parts warehouse (AKL), among other things. There will be space for more than 100,000 of the Group's storable items.

The Warehouse Management System inconsoWMS is to ensure the efficient control of all goods movements. In addition, the Böllhoff Group wants to implement the inconsoTMS transport management system and the inconsoSDS shipping & dispatch system in Bielefeld and thus create a more standardized system landscape for planning and controlling the entire route network.
