DHL returns to transport logistic
In 2019, transport logistic aims to reaffirm its position as the leading international platform for the logistics industry. The trade fair is growing primarily from abroad - and is also pleased that DHL is returning as an exhibitor.
DHL last exhibited at transport logistic in 2011 and will now be back with a strong trade fair presence in 2019. "DHL's return is a great enrichment for transport logistic - and at the same time shows how important the trade fair is for the industry to maintain its international networks and initiate business," explains Gerhard Gerritzen, Member of the Board of Management of Messe München.
"DHL is one of the leading players in the logistics industry, and transport logistic is one of its leading trade fairs. So what could be more natural than to present our answers to challenges such as digitalization, green logistics and the future of global trade here," says Tim Scharwath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. "We will also be presenting our extensive portfolio of services at our stand in Hall A4. We are looking forward to a great trade fair with lots of personal discussions," adds Uwe Brinks, CEO Freight.
New exhibitors from Brazil, China, Lithuania...
"transport logistic 2019 is growing primarily due to participation from abroad," Gerritzen continues. "That is why we have opened a new hall and are offering space here to new exhibitors from the air freight and maritime sectors as well as logistics service providers."
New exhibitors include Neutral Air Cargo from Hong Kong, the shipping company COSCO Shipping Lines with headquarters in China and, for the first time, Asia Shipping, a company from Brazil. AS Brazil CEO Alexandre Pimenta: "As a logistics service provider, we are already represented in Latin America and numerous Asian markets. In 2019, we will expand to Europe to support international companies in their logistics between Latin America and Europe." In addition, joint stands from Romania, Lithuania and Poland are planned at the trade fair for the first time.
