Auer Packaging wins the iF Design Award 2017

"Our assortment and tool boxes create a perfect overview when sorting and storing small parts and tools. They impress with their versatility, ease of use, which is reflected in many details, and their high-quality design. The fact that the expert jury of the renowned iF Design Award has now recognized this with an award "makes us proud and reinforces our approach that practical things can also be stylish," explains Robert Auer, Managing Partner of Auer Packaging.

The jury, consisting of 58 experts from the fields of design, industry and architecture, praised the consistently clear design language of the range and toolboxes combined with the optimal functionality of the product. Auer Packaging prevailed against 320 competitors in the "Packaging" category. The jury evaluated a total of 5,575 entries from 59 countries.

Well sorted, safely transported: system and toolboxes

With the system box range, work materials and tools can be clearly arranged, safely transported and easily handled. Five different sizes of assortment boxes with transparent, spring-loaded lids create order and a clear overview. The ergonomic handle can be folded in completely, allowing the box to be stored compactly. The open lid remains in place at an angle of over 90 degrees and can be securely closed with just one hand movement. When the lid engages with an audible click, the box is properly closed; small parts cannot fall out. The assortment boxes are available with practical insert boxes in nine sizes and six standard colors. When ordering, the boxes can be supplemented with individual and customer-specific inserts or with one of the nine pre-assembled assembly suggestions.

The Toolbox system with Toolboxes, Toolboxes Basic and Toolboxes Rack is aimed at both tradespeople and the self-employed (photographers, engineers, etc.), field staff, companies and private individuals. The new box system consists of stackable individual containers. Available in two basic sizes as standard, the containers are characterized by their large capacity. When stacked, the boxes can be securely connected to each other using an innovative linking system.

With a load capacity of 160 kilograms, the Toolbox transport trolley and Toolbox sack truck move heavy and unwieldy items from A to B. The base plate of the two mobile helpers is equipped with a linking system. In combination with toolboxes or racks, the transport trolley becomes a tool trolley or mobile small parts store.
