Portfolio grows
Three company acquisitions: MHP Solution Group continues to expand
The MHP Solution Group continues to grow with three company acquisitions. TMS provider Transdata, hardware system integrator Panda Products and AZ, a specialist in origin of goods and preference calculation, are expanding the portfolio for end-to-end solutions in logistics.
With the acquisitions, the MHP Solution Group currently employs around 300 people in ten subsidiaries. Nine locations are in Germany and one in Spain. Like all companies in the Group, the new additions are assigned to one of the product areas Transport, Warehouse, Customs or Shipping. They work closely together with the others under the MHP Solution Group umbrella brand with the same company name.
Panda Products Barcode-Systeme GmbH from Norderstedt near Hamburg is joining the Warehouse product area. The system integrator for mobile data capture is the first hardware specialist in the group. With a focus on barcode solutions, the company has a product portfolio ranging from mobile computers with integrated barcode scanners and shipping label printers to self-developed special solutions such as heat boxes for printers in the deep-freeze sector or mobile workstations as trolleys. WLAN infrastructure, storage location labeling and device management systems round off the range.
As a provider of an established complete solution for warehouse and transport management, the 40-strong team of experts at Transdata Software GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bielefeld, is strengthening the transportation product area. With over 1,000 installations at reference customers such as Schäfer & SIS Interlogistik, KS Logistic and Leitz, as well as a cloud solution for small to medium-sized transport companies, the Komalog logistics software technology complements the portfolio.
As a long-standing partner of TIA and MHP, the non-SAP division of AZ-ZOB GmbH, founded in 1996, has joined the Customs product area as the newly founded AZ Außenwirtschafts- und Zoll-Beratungsgesellschaft mbH. The company with eight employees in Albstadt near Tübingen offers software for the origin of goods and preference calculation, which is used as an on-demand or on-premise solution including a web portal for supplier declarations by reference customers such as Liebherr, Osram, Sennheiser and WMF.
"We have strategically expanded our portfolio with these companies. We are delighted with the experts and their experience with logistics processes for exciting and sometimes globally active customers. In addition to the sophisticated technologies and software solutions, it is precisely this expertise that makes the difference when it comes to an integrated and automated supply chain for our customers. We are even better positioned and look forward to the group-wide cooperation with synergy effects for all customers," comments Jasmino Burkic, CEO of the MHP Solution Group.
Founded in 1999, the MHP Solution Group is expanding its portfolio with company acquisitions. The eponymous MHP and TIA were joined by Aisys and BNS in 2016. LogControl and KDL followed in 2019 before the current acquisitions. At the same time, the group developed a Logistics Cockpit using the latest business intelligence technologies, which combines the data from all solutions. This enables customers to manage the entire supply chain based on key figures and in real time.
