How an avalanche transceiver learns to feel

CIM GmbH is convinced that the use of intelligent sensors in conjunction with the right software will bring about a revolution in intralogistics. With the help of a multi-sensor measuring cube, the WMS provider is making intralogistics processes "faster, more sustainable and more intelligent", according to the company.

The sensors provide data such as temperature, humidity, illuminance, CO2 concentration, acceleration and more. "This is how we teach our Prolag World warehouse management system to feel in a figurative sense," explains press officer Daniel Wöhr. The data supplied can be visualized and evaluated in Prolag World. On this basis, actions can be triggered manually or automatically. These reactions also serve as a basis for future decisions and process adjustments. The areas of application go far beyond temperature monitoring. ms
