Habisreitinger becomes COO Airfreight at Hellmann
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics appoints Martin Habisreitinger as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Airfreight with effect from February 1, 2025. He succeeds Jan Kleine-Lasthues, who is taking on new challenges after 13 successful years at Hellmann.
Habisreitinger will report to Madhav Kurup, who will take over the position of COO Airfreight, Seafreight and Contract Logistics as a member of the Executive Board at the beginning of next year.
"We are delighted to welcome Martin to the Hellmann team in February. Asia Pacific is an extremely dynamic market and Martin's extensive experience will be instrumental in supporting our growth targets in the region," says Jens Drewes, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. "We would also like to thank Jan Kleine-Lasthues for his outstanding work over the past years and wish him all the best for the future."
Over the past 20 years, Martin Habisreitinger has worked for Kühne & Nagel, DB Schenker and most recently as Vice President of Starbroker at DHL Global Forwarding. In his new position at Hellmann, he will work with the international air freight team to further strengthen the company's global presence. A particular focus will be placed on the e-commerce sector.
