Hugo Pluess takes over
New CIO at Imperial Logistics International
Hugo Pluess is to become the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Imperial Logistics International. He will take up his new position, based in Zurich, on August 1. Reporting directly to Hakan Bicil, CEO of Imperial Logistics International, Pluess will be responsible for the entire IT landscape of all Imperial Logistics International activities. This includes 9,000 employees at 170 locations in 20 countries. His main tasks will include leading the ongoing IT integration at Imperial Logistics International.
Pluess is a senior IT executive with more than 30 years of international experience in delivering cost-effective, high-performance IT services and organizations. He started out as a graduate electronics engineer and qualified for senior management positions in systems integration, programming and IT management. In his previous positions, he was Vice President Global Distributed Computing Services at NCR Corporation in the USA, CIO at NCR Switzerland, Global Head of Enterprise Computing Services at Roche Pharmaceuticals in Switzerland and most recently Executive Vice President Global IT Infrastructure at CEVA Logistics, also in Switzerland.
