Kardex Mlog: New Sales Manager for BeNeLux

Kardex Mlog appointed Martin ten Cate as Sales Manager BeNeLux at the beginning of October. With this appointment, the provider of integrated material handling systems and high-bay warehouses aims to give a strong boost to its activities in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Mechanical engineer ten Cate has 34 years of experience in the intralogistics industry. Most recently, he worked as Key Account Manager for Bowe Intralogistics and before that as Manager Sales Europe for the spiral conveyor technology specialist Royal Apollo Group. He also has 15 years of experience as Senior Sales Manager Logistic Solutions for high-bay warehouse systems and intralogistics systems.

Martin ten Cate wants to significantly advance Kardex Mlog in the BeNeLux region. "To build automated warehouses, but also for retrofit projects, you need staying power. The route to order placement is usually not a sprint, but a marathon," explains the sales expert, who was born in Wierden in the Netherlands. The economic outlook is good: in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, too, the space required for the construction of logistics centers is becoming increasingly scarce, which will lead to price increases. Against this backdrop, ten Cate expects "a continuing trend towards automated high-bay warehouses".
