Chep: Helen Lane is CEO for Europe
Chep, a supply chain solutions company with an international pooling network for load carriers, has appointed Helen Lane as the new CEO for its European business, effective November 11. She succeeds David Cuenca, who recently assumed the role of CEO of Chep North America.
Lane has had a long career with Brambles. Since joining in 2003, she has held leadership positions in Finance, Commerce, Logistics and Asset Productivity. In 2016, she took on the position of Vice President for Chep Northern Europe. In this role, she was responsible for the management of Brambles UK and Ireland until 2021. She was then appointed Chief Data and Digital Officer before adding Group Strategy to her portfolio in the 2024 financial year.
"I am very much looking forward to leading the European business. My main focus will be to work closely with our partners to shape the supply chains of the future through innovation, collaboration and engagement. The aim is to create added value for our customers," explains Helen Lane.
Graham Chipchase, CEO of Brambles, comments: "Helen Lane has been instrumental in our customer-centric, digital-focused transformation. This has added significant value by developing every aspect of our business. Helen Lane's extensive experience across so many areas of Brambles, coupled with her outstanding business and leadership skills, makes her the ideal candidate to lead Chep Europe through its next phase of growth."
