Fachpack 2025: A breath of fresh air for start-ups and converting

From September 23 to 25, 2025, Nuremberg will once again be the meeting place for the packaging world. Around 1,400 exhibitors will be spread across eleven exhibition halls, offering trade visitors a wide selection of products, services and the latest trends in packaging. In addition to the tried-and-tested supporting program, visitors can look forward to two exciting new features this year: the new start-up summit "FuturePack - The European Packaging Startup Summit" on the day before the trade fair and the "Converting meets Packaging" pavilion in Hall 7.

FuturePack brings fresh ideas to the stage

The trade fair week starts on Monday, September 22, with FuturePack, a new event format especially for start-ups and young companies from the European packaging scene. Event Director Phuong Anh Do is enthusiastic: "Our slogan 'We create the future' also stands for the fact that Fachpack offers start-ups and young innovative companies a home. [...] However, we want to focus Fachpack even more strongly on the future and innovation. We are therefore delighted that the FuturePack Summit is taking place as part of Fachpack."

The event is organized by Futury in cooperation with Fachpack and EIT Food. The aim is to bring start-ups, researchers and young companies together with industry, investors and decision-makers - in other words, where ideas meet real market opportunities.

Pitches, panels, perspectives

FuturePack promises a mixture of energy and expertise. The program includes over 25 start-up presentations, divided into three innovation phases: from research ideas and young start-ups to market-ready solutions. The whole thing is complemented by keynotes, discussion rounds and networking in a lively atmosphere.

Phuong Anh Do emphasizes: "The best three start-ups will also be chosen live on site as part of the event. The winners will have the opportunity to present their packaging innovations on the first day of Fachpack in the Innovation Box forum and discuss them directly with partners from the industry." Everyone involved in sustainable packaging solutions, the circular economy and future-proof technologies is invited - from founders and researchers to investors and sustainability experts.

FuturePack will take place on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg, NCC Mitte, Brussels Hall.

Premiere for the "Converting meets Packaging" pavilion

With the new joint stand "Converting meets Packaging", another future-oriented topic will have its place at the trade fair. The pavilion in Hall 7 was designed in collaboration with M2N Media. The area is already fully booked with seven exhibitors at the premiere. "The innovative platform focuses on the close connection between the converting industry and the packaging sector. The aim is to promote communication between converters, packaging machine manufacturers and packaging manufacturers and to identify potential for improved cooperation," says Phuong Anh Do.
