"Evolutions have been specifically designed to meet the challenges of e-commerce and omni-channel warehouses. Flexible in design, "Evolutions" can be scaled as required to improve the user experience. They enable efficient order and returns processing, higher throughput rates and shorter lead times. "Evolutions" are also an ideal solution for markets suffering from the increasing shortage of labor. At LogiMAT, Vanderlande will also be presenting 'tote-to-tote' and 'tote-to-belt' picking, as well as Smart Item Robotics (SIR). The latter is a low-risk automated picking solution based on a collaborative robot (or 'cobot') that can work safely with operators.
