Start-up
TruckJobs platform expands
The platform's job-matching technology takes psychological, cultural and formal factors into account and aims to facilitate the optimal selection of an employment relationship. The idea has been well received: the start-up has been able to cover its costs since the first quarter of 2018 with an annual turnover of one million euros. Last month, TruckJobs already delivered 1,500 qualified applications to its 200 or so business customers. The company is now expanding into Austria and Poland after around two years in business, which is why the team has almost doubled in size in recent months. The company also wants to make its presence felt elsewhere: For the first time, founder Daniel Stancke and his team will be represented on a joint stand with EURO-Leasing and other partners at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. "It has always been our goal not to be one of the 80 percent of start-ups that have to say goodbye to their business idea within two years. Our planning was long-term and international right from the start. That is why we have also invested a lot of energy in our own image campaigns, which focus on the appreciation of drivers and haulage companies. We have received emotional support from the community for our approach of getting to the root of the problem. Our business model is built on this basis and we are very pleased with the positive development and the opening up of new markets abroad," says Stancke.
