Logistics Hall of Fame
Traton joins the Logistics Hall of Fame
Traton AG, one of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturers in the world, joined the Logistics Hall of Fame supporters' circle in October. The aim of the Logistics Hall of Fame is to document logistical milestones, as well as the networking and further development of transportation and logistics.
"Traton and the Logistics Hall of Fame share the same values. We are united by our focus on top performance," says Andreas Renschler, CEO of Traton AG and member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, commenting on the commitment, adding: "The entire transportation sector is undergoing massive upheaval. New technologies, market players, trends and customer requirements are fundamentally changing the truck and bus business. We are a young company with the unique character of a start-up and the experience of its traditional brands."
Traton, formerly Volkswagen Truck & Bus AG, includes the MAN, Scania, Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus and RIO brands. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG.
