loxxter introduces freight cost audit

At transport logistic 2019, the Munich-based start-up loxxter GmbH presented its cloud solution for automated freight cost checking and optimization for the first time. Founded by experienced logistics consultant Paul Aschenbrenner, the company's target customers are primarily medium-sized shippers and fast-growing start-ups.

loxxter offers database-based software that is tailored to the needs of medium-sized companies in industry and trade as well as fast-growing start-ups. loxxter offers a wide range of functions for managing and checking the large number of shipment orders and transport service providers. The starting point is a central freight rate management system.

All orders and invoices are monitored via an interactive dashboard. Incoming invoices are automatically checked against the framework parameters stored in the database. The software takes a large number of parameters into account and also includes ancillary freight costs. In the event of deviations, complaints can be triggered at the touch of a button. This considerably reduces the amount of checking required.

The user interface is intuitively designed. loxxter also has a modular structure. Customers are free to choose their desired support level and functional modules. They can decide whether and to what extent their employees work with the software. Alternatively, loxxter also offers to carry out the freight cost check for the customer.

The loxxter database contains market data and indices. These enable customers to benchmark their freight costs across companies. At the same time, loxxter offers options for generating analyses and reports. This results in indicators for shippers to determine the strategy for further freight purchasing.

"The optimization process that we carry out for customers begins with the transfer of freight rates and invoice data into the system. This is usually completed in two to four weeks. From then on, freight invoice verification is automated. The effects and efficiency gains are immediately noticeable," explains loxxter founder and Managing Director Paul Aschenbrenner.

With the help of the loxxter market database and the software's business intelligence, the service provider, shipment and cost structure is then analyzed over the following months. If this results in potential savings, loxxter can also support the customer during the tendering process if required and identify suitable carriers in the service provider database.
