Hamburg logistics center ramp-up phase completed
Full load operation in the new Hamburg logistics center. Logistics service provider Group7 recently completed the ramp-up phase of the new building in Hamburg.
"After commissioning at the beginning of the year, we gradually ramped up capacity in Hamburg: we installed the high-bay racking systems, set up small parts picking on the platform system, inaugurated the process lines for assembly work and moved customers here from rented premises. It's a great feeling to now be able to offer our customers perfect logistics options," enthuses Hubert Borghoff, authorized signatory and logistics manager at Group7.
The logistics customers served by Group7 in Hamburg are housed in a storage area of 26,000 square meters. The storage area has been optimized for water hazard classes 1-3. For flexible deliveries and loading processes, the logistics center has eight ground-level and 28 loading ramps and is suitable for long trucks.
