Prologis concludes long-term lease agreement with home textiles retailer
Prologis has signed a ten-year lease agreement with Kleine Wolke Textilgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG for a new logistics property in Bremen.
Kleine Wolke is a Bremen-based company that was looking for new warehouse space in the Hanseatic city. Prologis has leased the company two units in Prologis Park Bremen DC3, comprising a total of 16,905 square meters - 16,085 square meters of warehouse space and 820 square meters of office space. The customer will put the space into operation during the third quarter of 2021. Logivest advised on the conclusion of this contract. The property is now fully let.
Kleine Wolke was looking for at least 15,000 square meters of warehouse space with additional office space to store home textiles such as bath mats, terry towelling and bed linen. Prologis offered the company a suitable space with its logistics property in Bremen. Prologis acquired the 31,500 square meter property in Bremen's Industrie-Park from WFB Wirtschaftsförderung Bremen GmbH in July 2019. "We started construction of the property at the beginning of 2020 as a speculative development," says Julian Kux, Leasing and Customer Experience Manager at Prologis. "We then worked closely with Kleine Wolke as the construction work progressed. At the customer's request, we adapted the property so that the company can organize its logistics processes more efficiently in the future."
