xetto wins iF Design Award in Gold
The xetto mobile transport and loading system won gold at the international Industrie Forum Design Award 2017, or iF Design Award for short. The "Lastathlete" - an innovation from Hörbiger - can go anywhere.
5,575 entries were submitted for the iF Design Award in the five disciplines of Product, Communication, Packaging, Interior Architecture and Professional Concept. The best 75 designs and design concepts each received the gold award. The conclusion of the jury of 58 international jurors on xetto was: "This simple transport system for small and medium-sized companies revolutionizes the transport and loading of loads. The design answers a multitude of complex questions with a simple approach. The complete xetto branding is harmoniously combined in this product: a perfect interplay of clear product management, marketing and design."

"In addition to the many practical advantages and its uniqueness in use, xetto also scores points with its outstanding appearance and excellent design."
The all-rounder that travels with you
xetto is designed so compactly that it fits under the load in practically any van. The way xetto works is simple: the key component of the innovation is a powerful system of micro-hydraulics and kinematics developed by Hoergiber. xetto picks up the load like a transport trolley. It then becomes a pallet truck, lifts its load into the vehicle at a loading sill height of up to 80 centimetres, "climbs" behind it and finds its place under the load.

Unloading is just as easy: xetto drives out of the vehicle, gets a firm footing, turns back into a pallet truck over the last few meters and thus enables the user to transport the load safely to the place of use without straining their back. Loads of up to 250 kilograms can be transported with little effort. The all-rounder is a versatile aid for metalworkers, logistics specialists and mechanical engineers. It effortlessly transports materials, tools and equipment of all kinds.
